Custom Forms Prompts and Uses
Custom form prompts are used for reporting and calendaring purposes. For tasks to appear on a report or calendar, for example the 'Deployment Calendar', the task must include the 'Deploy Prompt'. These prompts can also be added to 'personal tasks' to identify work that is not attributable to a specific project but the hours must be captured and reported to a specific department, function, or other criteria.
Examples of prompts in use:
- Tasks with the Deploy prompt are shown on the deployment calendar.
- Tasks with the Field prompt designates work as “shared” for resource allocation reporting.
How to Add a Prompt to a Task
- Click on the task and select Task Details sub-menu item.
- Click the ellipsis (...) next to the task name.
- Select Edit.

- Click Custom Forms from sub-menu.
- Click into Custom Forms field and select the appropriate prompt from the LOV.

- Verify the correct prompt has been added.
- Click Save.

The task will include the 'Prompt' on the Task Details sub-tab after saving.
